Release v3.0.0-rc11new
Wait and Call (DXpedition menu, Ctrl+W or a right click on Enable Tx) calls the station in DX Call whenever it is heard, up to 6 calls, and Wait and Reply (Settings > Sequencing) switches Enable Tx on when that station sends you a message. Band hopping on Tab 3 works through the frequency table’s FT8, FT4 and FT2 rows, every 1 or 2 minutes. Band Activity can show the distance and azimuth after a station’s country (Settings > General), View > Alternative layout arranges the main window like JTDX_improved’s AL layout, and a Ctrl+click on Sync synchronises to one station, shifting JTDX’s time to the DT of the station in DX Call. For the radio, Halt Tx when SWR > 2.5 (Settings > Radio) stops a transmission on a high SWR, and a right click on Tune starts the radio’s own antenna tuner. The 2026 CALL3.TXT is bundled and can be downloaded again under Settings > General > Data files. A tooltip says why a likely phantom decode is marked, and Misc > Hide clear phantom messages keeps the clear cases out of the windows; Save > Remove saved files after 30 days clears out old recordings, and the Settings dialog now fits a screen 768 pixels high (reported by Jun JF1PUW). The auto sequencer answers an R-report sent straight back to your call with RR73 and is no longer misled by a hint-decoded CQ in that period (reported by Yoshi JA5CEX), and a late-decoded RR73 after yours ends the QSO. Fixed: three crashes – the FT8 decoder on a very full band, the FT4 and FT2 decoder with more than 100 signals, and a PTT port that cannot be opened next to OmniRig, Ham Radio Deluxe or DX Lab Suite Commander; messages that cannot be encoded are no longer transmitted; a band changed at the radio is handled like one chosen in the program, also in split with Fake It, and closing the program while transmitting with Fake It leaves the radio on its receive dial; FT2 replies keep the right period; CQ TEST can be sent; My Grid goes out in upper case (reported by Luigi IW5DNZ); PSK Reporter’s packets keep within their size limit. ALLCALL7.TXT is now off by default. The Japanese translation was reviewed again by Yoshi JP1LRT – thank you very much – and every language now has Hamlib’s error texts. An error message was corrected by Michael DO3BOX. Native speakers can now review the translations of the program and of this website at ce3tsk.com/review and send the resulting JSON file to jtdx_contest@ce3tsk.com.
